It’s been a few months since I posted a new blog post, I wanted to give you a little behind-the-scenes what I’ve been up to. Ryan and I have been busy expanding our other two businesses (Net-Critical and Re-invent Realty). In April, we started hiring team members and now we’re moving to Markham to expand our businesses further. As for Vicky B. Designs, I started promoting my event and wedding decor services online which has been keeping me busy as well. Creating wedding decor proposals for brides is no joke.
As for my blog, I will be updating my blog with new DIY tutorials once we move into our new place and get settled in. I have been coming up with some fantastic ideas and I cannot wait to share them with you.
In the meantime, Ryan and I were featured in an article about our startup Re-invent Realty and how we’re using open data to reinvent the real estate industry, you can check it out here.

Nothing makes me smile more than the sight of beautiful flowers and with paper mache letters being a being trend lately, I decided to create this pretty floral letter centerpiece.
I love this idea as a wedding centerpiece either on the guest book table or even on the dessert table. For this project I used faux flowers (Michaels has a stunning floral market collection this season) but you can also use real flowers. This centerpiece is also perfect for any event including an Easter brunch, Mother’s Day, a baby shower or even a birthday party.
Give your Easter eggs a boost with this flash tattoo Easter egg decor tutorial. I love the hint of glam that these metallic tattoos give your eggs and they’re super easy to do.
For this tutorial, you can use real eggs but I used plastic decorative eggs because you can then use them for years on end. You can also get creative with different paint colours, I really like pastel colours right now so I decided to use pale pink and blue paint.
I love a good cup of tea, who doesn’t?! A few months ago, my best friend introduced me to Physique Fundamentals, a dynamic herbal-based tea company that encourages optimal health. One of the things that really intrigued me about the company was their Complexion Correction detox tea. As a beauty blogger, I love to try out various products and this tea was definitely on my “must try it” list.
Physique Fundamentals have three different types of teas, Lean Mean (detoxifying and weight loss), Clean Sweep (detoxifying and weight loss) and Complexion Correction (detoxifying). Each tea serves a different purpose, depending on what you want to achieve. I decided to start with the Complexion Correction, as I love testing out products that promise healthy, glowing skin.
